“Woo Idol” - First-Year Talent Show

Have you ever thought about auditioning for American Idol? Do you think that you can dance? Maybe stand-up comedy is your thing? Well here is your chance to find out!

For the sixth straight year, "Woo Idol" is coming to The College of Wooster and will be a part of New Student Orientation. It has been an amazing success because incoming students have been adventurous in displaying their talents. This show will take place on Saturday, August 23 from 9:45 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in Freedlander Theatre. Judges will be members of the College community and will select first, second, and third place winners.

We are inviting all first-year and transfer students to show their stuff in three to five minutes performances, even if you have only practiced singing while taking a shower! A piano, microphones, and a stage area will be available for you to make your performance the most memorable for the judges. Keep in mind that our technical resources are limited and the acts must be appropriate.
